Carpobrotus modestus
| The Inland Pigface has a spreading growth habit. The foliage is thick, triangular, smooth and blue-green in colour, sometimes with a tinge of pink. During spring and summer it displays bright purple flowers. It also produces fig like fruit. It prefers well drained soil in a sunny to partly shaded position. It is tolerant of frost, drought and coastal conditions. |
