Xanthorrhoea australis
| The Grass Tree has a small trunk, which develops with age. The bright green leaves are grown in a dense rosette of narrow, arching leaves. During spring white or cream flowers appear on long spears, though these may take some years to flower. They have a very slow growth rate. It prefers a sunny position in well drained soil. It is tolerant of dry conditions. |
