Lomandra Longifolia has green, glossy, flat,shiny leaves . Leaf bases are broad with yellow/brown/orange margins and the tips of the leaves are prominently toothed. The flowers form a dense, spike like structure. The spike is usually half the leaf length and the individual flowers are about 4mm long. Flowering occurs in late winter and spring.
