Festuca glauca
| Blue Fescue has a clumping growth habit. It has finely textured, upright, grey-blue foliage. During spring and summer it displays green flowers with a purple tinge on panicles above the foliage. These are followed by seed heads that resemble puffy wheat. It prefers moist, well drained soil in a sunny position, but is tolerant of drought. |
