Elijah Blue is a short lived, long growing, semi evergreen, clump forming ornamental grass known for its' glaucous, finely textured silver/blue foliage. It forms a dome shaped tuft with needle like blades. Light green flowers with a purple tinge appear in spring and summer and give way to fluffy seed heads come autumn. It prefers moist, well drained soil in a sunny position and is drought tolerant.
