Dianella Blaze is the first Dianella with truly dark foliage. It begins red and turns darker during the colder months. In summer it goes back to green with dark highlights. In spring the grass produces blue flowers, followed by purple berries. It prefers well drained soil in a sunny to partly shaded position. It is drought and frost tolerant.
