The Fire Bush is a hardy, flamboyant, evergreen shrub. It has bronze/purple/red growth during spring, which is followed by clusters of white flowers. It prefers moist, well drained soil in a sunny to partly shaded position. It is tolerant of frost, drought, sun and shade.
