Abelia grandiflora Kaleidoscope
| The Abelia Kaleidoscope is known for its' unique evergreen foliage, which changes colour many times during the year. Its' new growth is a bright yellow, with a pale green centre, coming into summer it turns to a pale yellow with dark green markings. During autumn the foliage turns bright red and orange with a dark green centre, which continues until early spring. The leaves are oval shaped. During spring white flowers, with five petals are displayed. Kaleidoscope prefers a sunny position in moist, well drained soil. It has low water requirements once established and can tolerate long dry periods as long as it gets a good water now and again. |
