Acanthus mollis
| The Oyster Plant is a perennial with a clumping habit. The leaves are large, dark green and glossy. During summer large flower spikes are produce. The purple-pink bracts open to display white flowers. It prefers moist, well drained soil in a sunny to partly shaded position. The Oyster Plant tolerates light frost. |
