A chance seedling discovered by a salvia enthusiast in Victoria - S. 'Wendy's Wish' flowers for a lengthy season (warmer months) displaying large, vibrant magenta flowers which are tubular and capped by a colourful calyx which remain some time after flowering extending its interest even longer. Mid green foliage is dense with a lush appearance with complimentary dark maroon stems. It is adaptable to many soil types provided they are well drained. It prefers a sunny to partly shaded position.
