Atriplex semibaccata

The Australian Saltbush has a dense, spreading habit. The leaves are grey-green, flat and oval shaped. During the year it produces rusty red coloured flowers. During autumn it displays red berries. It prefers a sunny to partly shaded position in moist, well drained soil. It is tolerant of coastal conditions, drought and frost.
