Cornus florida rubra

The Pink Flowering Dogwood has an upright growth habit. The leaves are dark green, glossy and ovate and turn dark brown during autumn. In Spring it displays pink flowers in clusters. During summer it produces clusters of rounded, red berries. It prefers moist, well drained, fertile soil in a sunny to partly shaded position. It is native to cooler climates in North America.
