Agave americana
| The Century Plant has a spreading growth habit. The leaves are wide, have spiny edges and grey-green in colour and form a rosette. Occasionally it flowers, when it does it produces large, yellow flowers on a spike. It prefers well drained, acidic, sandy or gravel based soil in a full sun position. It is extremely drought tolerant. |
