1. How many plant species am I able to access through the  online nursery?

Our database is in the process of being updated and will have in excess of 10,000 species of plants when it is finished. Our customers will have access to the largest range of Australian native plants for sale, as well as exotic shrubs, grasses, hedging plants and trees.

2. What if the plant I want is not on your list?

If there is a plant that you looking for, and you can’t find it on our website, please contact  and we will do our best to find it for you. If we are unable to locate the plant you are after, we will suggest a substitute.

3. Are your plants always available?

Plants are not always available due to seasonality and availability.

4. What happens if some plants are not available at the time of order?

will either offer a similar substitute or if the plant is available later in the year will split the order and we will pay for the delivery of the plants that are currently not available.

5. What happens if plants are damaged on arrival?

If plants are damaged in transit, advise the delivery driver of damage and return the plants with the truck. All claims for damaged plants need to be made within 48 hours of receipt and will either refund or deliver a replacement plant.

6. What happens if I am not home when the plants are delivered?

If you cannot be home on the date of delivery will need to agree with you a secure place where the plants can be delivered.

7. How do I pay for the plants from your online nursery?

We accept all major credit cards through our online payment system. It’s very easy and effective to use. Just follow the easy steps at the checkout.

8. If I pay by credit card is there a fee?

There is no fee for paying by any credit card that  accepts.

9. Can I collect the plants myself from Plants To Go to save delivery charges?

Yes, plants can be collected directly from our nursery in Cranbourne provided that a collection time is agreed in advance.

10. I am not able to plant the trees and shrubs I have purchased, can Plants To Go assist me?

We can provide planting services to assist with the establishment of your garden. Please advise at the time of your order and our planting crews will deliver the plants when they you are ready for them to be planted.

11. Where do you deliver your online plants to?

Although the online order form is currently only set up for Victoria, we take orders from all over Australia. We deliver small orders by Australia Post and larger orders via a plant transport company. Please send through an email to enquiries@plantstogo.com.au if you need a quote on delivery.

12. I’m not able to maintain my garden can you help?

Yes  we can provide a Garden Maintenance facility to suit your requirements and budget. Please contact us here.

13. What are your delivery costs?

Delivery of 50mm tubes is normally via Australia Post with larger orders delivered via vehicle or courier. We currently deliver to all areas of Victoria. Our delivery charge for one box (80 tubes) delivered by Australia Post is $15.00 Victoria wide.

Larger and weightier pot sizes will be delivered by truck within the Melbourne Metro area and the following fee structure will apply:

Orders between $1-$300 = Delivery fee $75.00
Orders between $300-$650 = Delivery fee $55.00

Orders over $650 = Delivery fee $35.00

Orders are normally dispatched within 5 - 10 working days from the time of ordering.

Delivery cost for country areas will be $95 + GST or 5% of invoice value.

We recycle all of our boxes and re use them for deliveries.

14. Who is Plants To Go?

has been established to provide cost-effective plant supply solutions to retail customers at wholesale prices. is owned by Tillage Nursery Group Pty Ltd, a wholesale tree and plant production nursery established nearly 20 years ago. Tillage Nursery Group Pty Ltd is a long standing member of the NGIV (Nursery and Garden Industry of Victoria) which is the peak industry body for the state's horticultural industry. Its member base covers production, wholesale, retail and allied trades.

15. Are all the plants for sale on this website grown by Plants To Go?

No individual nursery has the resources or space to grow all the different plant species from around the world.  uses the resources of its parent company Tillage Nursery Group Pty Ltd to source any plants that it does not grow itself. Tillage Nursery Group Pty Ltd has for nearly two decades provided the same plant sourcing service to its wholesale client base, consisting of local authorities, landscape architects, major landscapers and property developers.

16. Do I have to be a member to download any of the free information on the Plants To Go website?

Not at all. The only requirement to downloading any of the free information on the website is your email address.

17. Does it cost anything to become a member of Plants To Go?

There is no cost in becoming a member.

18. Are there any benefits in becoming a member?

There are many benefits. As a member you can participate in member discounts for plants and specials. You will receive free newsletters with helpful tips and details of new cultivars, with in depth analysis of the plant. You will also receive access to seasonal plants such as bare rooted trees and bulbs and be able to pre-order exotic online plants.
